with this picture from the Jardin du Luxembourg and the first model of the statue of Liberty by Bartholdi. I just discovered it two days ago, running there now 2-3 times a week, which is now feasible thanks to my new evening work schedule. A whole new life...
It must be spring, my favourite season. I spend all my money on café and "Perrier tranche" sitting on terrasses in the sunshine reading cookbooks (my new bosses want me to come up with proposals for the new menu next week).
Bravo pour le footing et le nouveau job.
je me lèche déjà les babines à l'idée de voir les nouveaux plats que tu vas nous proposer sur le blog.
A très bientôt

Kate, one entrance to this park is right next to the hotel we all stayed in March 2006. Did you have a chance to go at that time ? There are a lots of children's activities too like pony riding, playgrounds and theater for kids. I know who would like it too .... ;)

That picture was so odd for me to see. I grew up in NY and the statue is bigger and belongs in the harbor! So I was a bit surprised to see it in a park.
Fascinating.
Cheers!

Ulla, it looks so nice there. It snowed here last week, so we look more like January than spring...Olivia will be coming over in August, she is being placed in Gueret, which I believe is 2 hours or so south of you...she was hoping for either closer to Paris or in the south...but I'm sure she'll enjoy it. It sounds like things are really going well in your new restaurant. It's been so exciting watching you grow in your new field....don't hear you speak about Life#1 so much any more. I'm very impressed with your progress!
